Providing sound for exhibitions is always a complicated process. Sound conflicts arise very quickly, and acoustic performance is always difficult to anticipate.
Today, the Losonnante (lien vers Home Page) sound devices offer another way of adding text, music or commentary in a tour. Our technology, based on the principle of bone conduction, gives exhibit designer the possibility of providing audio content for an exhibition in a totally new way, while allowing a playful and sensitive approach to the subject matter.
Our concept
By placing their hands over their ears, and feeling the sound through their own bodies, visitors are immediately placed at the heart of the scene they are observing. They can hear the sounds “as if they were there”, or be drawn into another time and place by the stories or commentaries they are listening to. In this way, visitors will directly resonate with the content and feel as if they are listening to sound from within. In a simple and inclusive way, this new concept of sound sound plays on feelings and emotions.

Losonnante goes against the grain of current trends, which are all about movement and speed. We invite people to take an immersive break during their visit, and focus on a holistic visitor experience that integrates the environment in which the listening takes place, without the need for movement or screens. Its discreet design makes it possible to envisage several sound experiences in a single exhibition space.
Our work
Whether you’re an exhibit designer, a museum curator, a cultural engineering agency, or in charge of discovery trails, cultural or immersive spaces, library or media library, we’ll support you throughout your exhibit design process.
The box, designed for both indoor and outdoor use, simply needs a plug to operate, but batteries can also be used.
If required, we can also provide sound production.
