Case study

In 2022, the Paris Zoological Park revealed itself in a whole new way, inviting you on a
sensory journey to discover your own senses and those of other animals. Listen to all
your natural senses and immerse yourself in the atmosphere of each biozone.
As you made your way along the tour route, you let yourself be guided by sensory stops
and devices that helped you awaken your perceptions and discover the unsuspected
abilities of many species.

What was needed

The zoological park wanted to install a “sensizone” for a summer outdoor event at the zoo. It wanted to help visitors discover animals in a different way, using their senses such as sight, smell and hearing. For one of the events, the park's team wanted people to listen to unfamiliar animal sounds in the outdoor zoo.

Solution implemented

The park rented 4 Losonnante sound devices (at two different heights) for the summer period that were installed outdoors. Visitors could listen to rhinoceros sounds and elephant infrasound. On two other kiosks, a game to recognize animals by their calls was set up.
